The Reizen Auto Calendar Clock's large, contrasting format makes reading the clock very easy. Clock has large, black numbers, hour hands and a minute hand. Calendar, day and date are displayed in bold, easy-to-read white on black. Controls for setting the calendar and clock on back are simple to use.  Didn't Work October 9, 2008
Reizen Auto Calendar ClockThe day/date feature did not work. An email request for instructions on sending the clock back was not answered.
 Great for Seniors and Visually Impaired September 28, 2008
We have two of these. While my FIL was in a nuring home, we took one to the home. His roommates loved it.
We did have a slight problem with one. A red wire behind the date prevented the date from changing. But all we had to do was take the clock apart and bend the wire out of the way. I would suggest that the manufacture tape or anchor the wires in some way to prevent this problem. I would also suggest a small plastic pouch be put on the back to insert the small instruction sheet, so that it can stay with the clock.
Poor quality August 28, 2008
Returned this item shortly after receiving it because several of the plates used to display the day were warped. As they would flip down to display the next day of the week they would stick half way and stay there until three or four more days would pass and the weight of these additional plates would force the warped one down. Pretty pathetic when you think about it. Indicates the simplest of quality control measures are ignored by the manufacturer.
Asked the distributor for an exchange, and was told they have received too many complaints similar to ours, so are discontinuing the product. They would issue a credit instead.
Too bad. I liked the design of this product, but it could not perform basic functions.

I purchased this clock for my 89-year old mother. We was always asking what day or time it was, and now she can see the day, date, and time from across the room.
Clock was defective. July 13, 2008

My 82 year old mother has a severe memory problem and sometimes has a problem with what day of the week it is. We thought that this clock would be the answer for her. Unfortunately, the clock was defective. We were going to exchange it for another clock and the company told us that they have had many problems with the clock. Just a big disappointment.
