 Just a great product January 6, 2009
A must buy for older folks with memory loss! Two minutes max to setup. Works great on an anolog set with cable.
One suggestion..label the VOL + - as loud soft. For an 87 year old even the plus and minus signs are confusing.

The Answer to a real problem. January 3, 2009
I care for an elderly gentleman with Alzheimer's disease. He stopped watching television because of the difficulty dealing with the remote. I've tried other remotes but somehow he would erase it's settings. This remote isn't so easy to de-program. It's great. Thanks.
Dad's new remote December 29, 2008
We purchased this remote for my elderly father who lives in a nursing home. He has severe arthritis in both hands and the tv remote buttons were too small and close together and too confusing. Every time he tried to use the remote he wound up reprogramming it, he would get frustrated and just turn the tv off. This remote is lightweight, the buttons are large and easy to press even with his limited mobility, and the remote is a good size for his misshapen fingers. He is very happy with his new remote. We were impressed with how easy it was to program, yet not so easy that he can accidentally unprogram it! We highly recommend this remote for anyone with mobility or confusion issues.

I would highly recommend this product! Bought it for my father who's in a nursing home with advanced Parkinson's.. he had trouble remembering which buttons to push on the remote that came with his TV so I searched & got this one.. was very easy to program & easy for him to see!
