Amazon.com Product Description This is a perfect cabinet to use for garage storage, where its slightly homely appearance won't matter, and where wooden or metal cabinets would be likely to get dinged by yard tools, cars, and so on.The cabinet is easy to assemble-you don't need tools to do it, though a soft mallet may be helpful. As with most Rubbermaid products, this one is almost indestructible. The cabinet's lightweight construction makes relocating it easy, and it has a small footprint for what it can hold (it has 10.7 cubic feet of storage area, and will support up to 335 pounds). If you intend to use the cabinet to store toxic items, you may want to consider ordering a set of locks from the manufacturer as these are not included with the cabinet.--Josh Dettweiler

Could be better December 11, 2008 This seems like a decent design and as though it will hold up in my garage, where wood or metal would be likely to deteriorate. On the other hand, it has a number of negatives. The manufacturing is rather shoddy. Everything fit together, sometimes with difficulty. The place where the lock goes is very flimsy - a mouse with manicure scissors could probably cut right through the thin plastic - so the locking feature is not well designed at all. Shelves are very sturdy, but not adjustable. Appearance is not too bad.
Follow instructions on box to letter October 25, 2008 Line up all the pieces and follow the instructions carefully. You will find this goes together easily and is a good storage cabinet. It holds heavy things on the bottom shelf and lighter ones up above. Put them side by side in my garage and got rid of a lot of stuff from all over.
Not perfect, but still good. October 20, 2008 I ordered 2 cabinets for my garage on Thursday and received them on Saturday, good job Amazon.com. The cabinets are good sturdy units and I am very pleased with them. Very easy to assemble. I must say that the quality assurance at Rubbermaid needs a bit of work. There are holes cut in the doors, sides and back to mount on cylinders. The plastic shavings and cutouts were still inside the parts and needed to be removed for assembly (they often blocked the holes). Some of the holes cut in the parts were torn to the side of the part. Once assembled this could not be seen but may weaken the total structure as the plastic was quite thin in these areas. As stated in other reviews, the doors are a bit difficult to open at first but work fine after a few opening and closings. The top of this cabinet will need something on it if you want to use it as any kind of work surface. The assembly holes go clear through and are open for small items to fall into. Once assembled the cabinet is quite sturdy, much more that other cabinets I have seen. I would definately recommend these cabinets to others. They look good and hold a lot of stuff.
fantastic October 16, 2008 I don't know why people are having problems with this cabinet, this is my fourth cabinet and they are great. I assembled this last one in about 15 minutes with just a rubber mallet.
serves the purpose September 9, 2008 This cabinet was a little hard to put together, but it works well once we got it finished. It's not attractive, but it is meant to be used for storage in our work shop.
